Dividend vs Growth, which one is better?

Disclaimer: Whatever I say or post doesn't act as financial advice, so please do your due diligence before making any decision. Dividend focus or growth focus? I think this is a common question that most investors will have when they start their investment journey, or when they rebalance their portfolio. This a a dilemma for me till today as well, should I even consider to include the stock in my portfolio if it does not pay dividends? I will break down my thoughts about this in the following segments. 1. Dividends Are Not a Guarantee of Quality A dividend payout doesnโ€™t automatically make a stock superior. Intel (INTC) is a great example of how even a long-standing dividend aristocrat can face challenges due to competitive pressures, technological shifts, or mismanagement. Dividends can s

Sold PLTR put spread

Disclaimer: Nothing I say or post should be considered financial advice. Please do your own due diligence before making any investment decisions. Took a trade on PLTR today after noticing a strong buy signal supported by solid volume. Iโ€™m still bullish on the overall sentiment surrounding the company despite the elevated P/E ratio and aggressive forward estimates. With the number of government contracts they've secured and how well the company aligns with the current U.S. political and defense outlook, I don't see why PLTR can't retest previous highs or potentially break into new highs over time. That said, I may be early on the bullish thesis, so I wanted to structure the trade with risk in mind. Opened a 05 June 120/118 put credit spread for a $0.40 credit โ€” targeting roughly a 20% ROI o

$NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$   I personally dont trade earnings call. But as you can see on my chart, it's indecisive. So I will take an air of caution and hold off till market open tomorrow, after the earnings call.  I rather miss out then lose out. Disclaimer: Whatever I say or post doesn't act as financial advice, so please do your due diligence before making any decision. I personally think that there is still bearishness in the market, looking at the tremendous challenges that the trump/republican administration has to overcome. So I will take a precautionary bullish sentiment till the inauguration day.  Taking into account the unstable mental space of trump, I will not take a firm stand on a definite santa rally. Started a covered call strategy on S today

$S 20260618 16.0 CALL$  $SentinelOne, Inc(S)$   Disclaimer: Nothing I say or post should be considered financial advice. Please do your own due diligence before making any investment decisions. Started a covered call strategy on S today as I took advantage of the late-morning momentum as SentinelOne broke past $17.00 today to lock in a highly optimized defensive position. By routing a Net Debit order to buy the shares at $17.05 and simultaneously selling that June 18 $16.00 Call for $2.00, I successfully established a position that completely insulates myself from most downside earnings volatility. Here is the exact scoreboard for this trade: 1. The Key Numbers Gross Stock Entry:

Disclaimer: Whatever I say or post doesn't act as financial advice, so please do your due diligence before making any decision. The announcement of Deepseek, a rival company of AI from China, being able to produce AItechnology at a much lower cost. But if you look deeper, everything is premature.  The cost of research and execution is not even taken into account yet. So I really do not believe this will change the landscape and potential of US based AI companies.  It just makes them cheaper and at a discount, if you are a long term trader. So I believe NVDA will bounce back, and bounce back hard if it does.  @madluvyz - Specialist in using TA to sell options and swing trade.๐Ÿ˜บ

Snippet of upcoming earnings week 10/02 - 14/02

An overview on some companies on my watchlist that are announcing earnings on the coming week. Most of them are speculated to be beating earnings estimates. However, as we saw in GOOGL, beating estimates doesn't necessarily equate to a bullish move in the stock.  I used to trade pre/post earnings , betting a strong upside or downside move. But I have stopped since a year ago as I felt the risk/reward ratio does not make sense anymore. I prefer selling vertical option contracts as it is more sustainable and enable me to have a healthier mental space. But if you are an earnings trader, this will be useful information.
