Mr. kazuo inamori died, and I was deeply sad.

Mr. Inamori is known as the \"saint of management\" in Japan. He founded two enterprises in his life, Kyocera and Japan's No.2 Telecommunications and Telephone Company, both of which entered the world's top 500 under his leadership.

At the age of 78, Kazuo Inamori was invited by Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama to save JAL. This time, it only took this old man 424 days to turn JAL into a profit, creating a profit of 188.4 billion yen in the history of JAL.

Kazuo inamori adhered to the belief of \"altruism\" all his life. He said,Success or failure in life, everything, in the final analysis, depends on whether we can improve our mind and make it purer and better.

Today, the superstar fell. May Mr. Inamori's thought that \"everything in the world begins with the heart and ends with the heart\" illuminate the world business community.

This article is excerpted from kazuo inamori's final work \"Heart: kazuo inamori's life entrustment\" (translation: Cao Yugang, Cao Xiuyun). Everything that happens in life is attracted and shaped by our own hearts. Because of this, in the face of what is happening in front of you, what thoughts you have and what attitude you have to treat, your life will undergo tremendous changes.

Mr. Konosuke Matsushita, who founded Matsushita Electric, had to drop out of primary school and become an apprentice when he was a child because his father failed to speculate on the rice market and went bankrupt. Since childhood, he has suffered a lot. In the face of such a fate, he was not discouraged, wholeheartedly and worked hard. Mr. Panasonic's loyal, honest, optimistic and cheerful heart is the foundation for Panasonic's prosperity in the future.

I'm afraid there were many children who became apprentices like Mr. Matsushita at that time. Many of them may complain about their own situation, be jealous of others and hate society. This kind of child can't achieve the remarkable achievements of Mr. Matsushita.

I have suffered all kinds of misfortunes and setbacks from my teenage years to my step into the society.

When I am full of complaints and complaints about my situation, nothing goes smoothly.

However, from the moment I began to accept my fate calmly and made up my mind to devote myself to my work, my life changed from a headwind to a tailwind.

Later, when I recalled, I realized that my boyhood seemed to be stained with misfortune, but in fact, it was just a prelude to a wonderful life bestowed on me by God.

If my life was smooth sailing, and I didn't experience setbacks and hardships at all, I wouldn't try my best to temper my heart, and I'm afraid I would become a person who doesn't know how to understand and sympathize with others.

No matter what happens good or bad, be thankful

No matter how harsh the present situation is, you can neither resent nor give in. What is important is to consistently respond positively and face it with \"gratitude\".

When we encounter disasters, get into trouble and have unsatisfactory results, if our personality has not been tempered to a considerable extent, we often complain: \"Why did I suffer this misfortune?\"

On the other hand, good luck and everything is satisfactory. At this time, you should be able to say thank you, right? But this is often not possible either. Good luck and good things are what I deserve and are \"taken for granted\". Some people are even dissatisfied, thinking that \"it's not enough, but more\". Insatiable, that's the nature of some people.

That is to say, it is equally difficult to be grateful whether you encounter a good thing or a bad thing.

Actually,When facing disasters, sufferings and unfortunate situations, it is an excellent opportunity to express gratitude. Why do you say that? Because of this harsh environment and situation, we can exercise our minds and temper our souls.

After long-term religious or spiritual practice, people may naturally develop the habit of thanking for everything. However, those of us who have not practiced must force ourselves to be grateful to this extent.

Although this is a very simple secret of life, no one has come to teach us. The school won't teach it to students, and I'm afraid parents can't teach their children.Because there are really few people who know the importance of this attitude towards life in their minds and can really implement it in their lives.

Mr. Inamori is reading \"The Legacy of Nanzhou Weng\" (Photo: Katsuo Kanno)The secret to surviving a harsh life:

Accept disaster \"happily\"

Buddhism says, \"Missing creates karma.\" That is to say, what you think in your heart will become \"karma\", that is, it will become the cause, and the cause will create the \"result\" of reality.

When a disaster comes, if our mentality is wrong, it may call a bigger disaster. The way to avoid this is to accept disaster \"happily\".

If you are injured, you should think, \"Ah, fortunately, it's over with only such a small injury. It's not so miserable that you can't move your body.\" If you get sick, you should be happy: \"This small illness can be cured by an operation. What a luck.\"

When a disaster occurs, it means elimination of karma.

Needless to say, big disasters can eliminate karma. Even small disasters can eliminate karma, so you should be happy. Even if you don't think so in your heart, you should use reason to make yourself happy. It's important.

The person who gave me this precious teaching was my life mentor, Master Danxue Nishipian, the former director of Miaoxin Temple in Linji Sect. I have consulted him on many matters.

Previously, Kyocera manufactured and supplied artificial knee joints for medical use without license. This incident has been widely reported by the media, and Kyocera has been criticized with encouragement.Although this matter has a special background, I don't make any excuse for it, but I just apologize repeatedly.

In front of Kyocera's headquarters, there were rows of cameras for several days, and the TV showed me bowing my head and apologizing many times. I was exhausted, so I went to the mage to ask for some advice.

The mage made the tea as usual, listened carefully to me, and then said to me:\"Very good. When disaster strikes, that is, when the karma created in the past disappears. It is necessary to celebrate that the karma can be eliminated by such a little criticism.\"

I thought that the mage would definitely comfort me, but I didn't expect the mage to say this. I thought his words were rather cold and ruthless.

However, after chewing this passage carefully, my heart was healed and deeply comforted.

People who are alive and never encounter disasters don't exist. Disasters will strike at unexpected times and in unexpected forms.

At this time, you can't be depressed or fall into the abyss of despair. Be happy about it, be thankful, and then take a new step.

This sentence is a great wealth in my life

In my life journey so far, whenever I should express gratitude, I can't help but blurt out the words \"Nanman, Nanman, thank you\".

\"Namman\" is the dialect pronunciation of \"Namo Amitabha\". In my distant childhood, my father once took me to a place where I recited Buddha's name. I learned this sentence there.

At that time, my father took my hand and walked on the dark mountain road after sunset. Finally, they arrived at a simple hut deep in the mountains. The sound of monks chanting sutras came from the hut.

We sat down. The monks urged the participants to bow in front of the Buddhist altar one by one. I imitated my father's example and folded my hands to pray.

The monk said to me in a comforting tone, \"It's not easy to come all the way from Kagoshima today.\"

Then he continued, \"Son, you have been recognized by the Buddha for visiting the shrine today, and you won't have to come again in the future. But from now on, every day you must chant 'Nanman, Nanman, thank you' to express your gratitude to the Buddha.\"

Since then, this sentence has been buried in my heart and has become a great wealth in my life.

I had no special talent, and I suffered from setbacks in my youth. People like me have actually made certain achievements in the field of business management, probably because I understand this sentence and always talk about gratitude. The culprit who leads life astray

Often success and praise

Without humility, gratitude cannot sprout.

Things go slightly smoothly, and with the touting of people around you, your heart will be shaken, flying everywhere like a kite with a broken string. This is the nature of some people.

If this situation continues, we will unknowingly become arrogant and adopt outrageous attitudes towards others. The culprit that leads life astray is not necessarily failure and setback, but often success and praise.

Kyocera was founded, and the business was on track, with considerable profits. At that time, I thought: \"The company has such a high profit, but my annual salary is so low. Isn't it too much loss?\"

I founded the company with my talent, and it was my talent to create profits, so it is understandable to get several times the current annual salary. This thought occurred to me.

However, I soon realized that my heart was becoming arrogant. I carried out profound self-admonishing.

One's own talents are by no means one's own private property, but they are just given by chance. This kind of talent, if not owned by me, is normal. There is nothing inconceivable about the role I play, being assumed by someone else.

Therefore,This kind of talent can not only be used by oneself, but should be used by the world and society.I started thinking like this.

Why can't ability and talent be owned by yourself?

Not limited to human beings, assuming that all the attributes that make living things living things-body, spirit, consciousness, perception, etc.-are taken away, and all that remains is \"what is called'existence '\".

With this \"being\" as the core, all life is formed. It sometimes takes on the form of a flower and sometimes plays the role of a person.

That is,Things beyond the \"core of being\", such as body and mind, thoughts and feelings, or money, status and fame, even talents, etc., are all but borrowed things and appendages given.

If you think about it in this way, thoughts such as \"this is my thing\" and \"that success is my credit\" become groundless. Those things that we think are ourselves are just things that have been deposited with us for a while in this world, and their true owners are unknown to us at all. When the end of this life comes, we should return these deposited things to God without nostalgia.

With such thoughts in life and work, pride and arrogance will disappear in your heart, and your heart will be full of gratitude and modesty.

Extremely serious and focused at the moment

Is the best spiritual practice

Always be grateful, modest and self-disciplined, and never forget to show love and kindness to others. Such a mentality is what attracts beautiful reality.

James Ellen, a British thinker, made the following discussion in his book The Law of Cause and Effect:

\"There is a tendency, (omitted)Whether it is the immediate goal or the purpose of life, people with pure hearts are always far easier to achieve than people with dirty hearts.”

There are some people around us, although they are not smart or capable, but they challenge with pure motivation, make unremitting efforts, and finally accomplish what everyone thought was difficult to accomplish.

On the other hand, talented people have made meticulous plans, but they can't proceed smoothly.

Because no matter how good a plan is, if its motivation stems from evil thoughts, then even if it achieves a temporary success, this success cannot be sustained.

So, what is the best way to purify and beautify the mind?
