$SK hynix(SKHY)$ It's frustrating watching how the market reacts, grouping the problems of unrelated companies together with a memory chip maker whose production capacity is already fully booked for years. At least it opens up a buying window for anyone still on the sidelines.
$Bloom Energy Corp(BE)$ Morgan Stanley's 38-GW AI power-gap report extended Bloom Energy's rebound by 9.6% on Tuesday. The October 26 report raised the 2026-28 U.S. power-shortfall estimate to 38 GW. The report pointed to Bloom fuel cells as a fast-deployment option for that shortage. Bloom had already gained on Monday, so Tuesday's move was a continuation in the same direction following the report-driven rebound. Shares opened about 4.9% higher, then added another 4.4% by 11:01 ET. Barron's noted renewed buying across AI-infrastructure names. Nebius was up around 9%, which lined up with a broader AI-infrastructure recovery that morning. Supportive post-earnings notes from Evercore, Bernstein and Barclays also he
$Direxion Daily Semiconductors Bull 3x Shares(SOXL)$ There has been heavy buying in SOXS. Volume hit 178 million yesterday, and there were already 28 million shares traded just 20 minutes after the open. Shorts are clearly under pressure.
$Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ AAOI reported record revenue of $192M and EPS of .06, about 300% above expectations. Their next report is coming up soon, with revenue expected to rise roughly 43% sequentially to around $275M, along with much higher earnings guided at .11–.26 per share. Analysts are looking for .143 EPS.
Korean investors are getting hit hard by margin calls, and that's dragging down the memory market. $SK hynix(SKHY)$ is down around 8%, and it's spilling over into $Micron Technology(MU)$ as well. This has nothing to do with fundamentals. It's purely a deleveraging event, and it's crushing these names. We've already seen this happen a few times this year, but it's still scaring off long-term investors from getting into MU.
$ProShares UltraPro QQQ(TQQQ)$ NOV20 73C, still actionable. Zone: $70.15 to $71.13 Invalidation: close under $68.21 Objectives: $75, then $79.27 The math: up 6.2% to the first objective and 12.2% to the second, against 3.4% risk on the invalidation, better than 3 to 1 to the second. Think of this swing setup like a rubber band pulled too far in one week and now snapping back a little. TQQQ fell more than 13 percent in five sessions and closed Friday at $68.21, yet buyers lifted price near $70.64 and held the low at $70.13. The floor is close, and if the bounce holds there is room toward $75 first and $79.27 next, while a close under $68.21 would tell you it failed and you step aside. Watching $72.44, the high. A close over it would show buyer
Pretty quick reversal incoming. Looking at the patterns on $Tradr 2x Long Aaoi Daily Etf(AAOX)$ , at one point it was $7 and then ripped to $26, now we're all the way back down to $5. I could see $20 to $50 in the cards for the end of the year for AAOX. They're about to report their first profitable quarter, this is a steal at these levels, thinking long term. $Applied Optoelectronics(AAOI)$ is literally expanding revenue and margin profitability, as well as $Lumentum(LITE)$ , if not better.
