$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ People calling this manipulation are missing what's actually happening. Portfolio managers are buying $Apple(AAPL)$ because they're scared and trying to avoid pulling money out. The algos reacting to the $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ or $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ misses are buying too, but that isn't manipulation. It's an opportunity to short these AI algos that are getting it wrong based on a fast reaction. Don't fight it, use it. $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ Currently down 30% from the May ATH. Down 21.5% in 2 weeks. Volume is over 400% of the daily average and about 2x the expected move for earnings. 270 is only 4% away. I keep buying on weakness, I wouldn't wait for a specific level. Irrationality at its finest. $500B wiped on a company growing revenue at 25% annually, with search pivoting to AI Mode which will be monetized efficiently sooner than later. So stupid. But happy to pick up extra shares. The grey box is the earnings gap. Bollinger bands show how outstretched the move truly is. I'm expecting $300 sooner than later unless the entire market craters into November. $SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ I tripled my position with buys at 300, 294 and 288. Not too worried with a 308 average, but it might take longer than I'd like. There are some issues, but they have always found a way to rebound. This time could be different, but I'm betting it won't be. Buying the fear usually pays.
$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Vertical integration. Their own Maia 3000 chip, cheaper and more powerful. 40 percent more efficiency. This isn't getting enough attention.
Microsoft has completed pretraining MAI-Base-2, a new AI model with 2.8 trillion total parameters and 80 billion active parameters. They claim it outperformed every open-source model evaluated while requiring up to 12 times less computing power to match a leading competitor. Built on a mixture-of-experts architecture, the model activates only a portion of its parameters for each task. Microsoft said its training approach was 4.2–12.3 times more compute-efficient than DeepSeek-V4-Pro-Base across four benchmarks and 6.3–12.7 times more efficient than its predecessor, MAI-Base-1. The model was trained using 16,000 Nvidia GB200 GPUs over 38 days in August and September, processing approximately 50 trillion training tokens. Its unique-token dataset increased by around 36% compared with MAI-Base
$Pepsi(PEP)$ $McDonald's(MCD)$ More than resistance, what you need to watch are the support levels. $Microsoft(MSFT)$ has tricked many of us before, dropping below 360 into new lows after a mega rally. So I'm wary of those kinds of moves in a high inflation environment. But that doesn't mean I'm stopping my buying.
$Alphabet(GOOGL)$ One of the better-looking Mag Seven setups right now. It's reclaiming the 50 DMA here, with room back up in this triangle toward the top trendline around $363.
