Microsoft's Azure demand came in above their own guidance, and the $677B backlog behind it takes capacity to deliver. Azure was guided at 44% to 45% growth and delivered 48%, with the company citing strong demand for services across the platform. Commercial RPO is $677B, up 73% year over year, against $678B in July. About 30% gets recognized in the next 12 months, while the portion beyond 12 months grew 98%. Bookings fell 12% against large Azure commitments in the prior-year quarter. Capex including finance leases rose 30% to $45.2B to support customer demand across the Microsoft Cloud. Roughly three-quarters was short-lived assets, primarily CPUs and GPUs, with the remainder being long-lived. Microsoft's FY26 10-K notes they rely on third-party providers, including colocation facilities,

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Microsoft noted it increased computing capacity available to customers, and that additional capacity was immediately absorbed. Azure revenue grew faster than analysts expected. The company managed this while still reporting that customer demand exceeded available supply. CoreWeave has a large contracted backlog and higher-priced new capacity agreements. Nebius pointed to strong customer commitments and higher pricing in selected capacity auctions. Oracle reported rapid cloud infrastructure revenue growth and major capacity deliveries.

Microsoft reclaimed a $4 trillion market cap on Monday for the first time since October 2025, closing at $4.02 trillion as shares gained 1.14%. That puts the company close to its all-time valuation record of $4.029 trillion, set on Oct. 28, 2025. Microsoft last closed above the $4 trillion mark on Oct. 29, 2025, according to Dow Jones Market Data. This is another step in Microsoft's comeback as investors reassess its growth prospects and competitive position in AI. Demand for AI infrastructure, cloud computing, and enterprise software remains central to the long-term outlook, though the timing and profitability of AI investments continue to shape sentiment across the tech sector. With its market value approaching a new record, Microsoft could set a fresh milestone if the stock keeps its up

Hard to make sense of today with all these short sellers circling $IREN Ltd(IREN)$ , like it's a dead horse walking. Not really. They won this round, but the fight is only going to get more intense up here in the $30s. This is a $70 stock trading at a -50% discount, and that discount isn't going to last much longer. The best approach for me is to keep adding on every dip and build share count while it's still low, because once it starts to rally it'll be a furious ride up and much harder to accumulate shares at that point. $Global X Artificial Intelligence & Technology ETF(AIQ)$  $Microsoft(MSFT)$

$Apple(AAPL)$  holding near 338 while the rest of the tape is red does back up the safe-haven rotation idea. 340 is the level to watch.

$Microsoft(MSFT)$ Even the government seems to be trying to slow Microsoft's rapid rise as it pushes toward becoming the top AI technology company. This is the new high flyer, and it doesn't look like it can be stopped. We'll see how it plays out over the long term.
