$Intel(INTC)$ OpenAI's newly released GPT-6 Astra model could significantly boost CPU demand, potentially benefiting Intel and AMD. Industry observers note that Astra's ability to autonomously create and run AI agents on local devices creates heavy computational loads on host processors. The model navigates software like a human, spawns sub-agents, and requires isolated environments for security, all of which consume local CPU resources. OpenAI has also classified Astra at the Critical cybersecurity threshold, the first such designation for a released model, triggering deployment restrictions. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang congratulated OpenAI and declared that AGI has arrived, while noting Astra was trained on Nvidi
