      With about an hour to go before trading resumes on Tuesday (08 Sep 2026), US stock index futures have improved marginally. Dow Jones Futures earlier fell by -0.80%, now its -0.78%. S&P 500 Futures earlier fell about -0.31%, now -0.25%. Nasdaq Futures earlier registered a -0.10%, now +0.04%. Is there cause for celebration ?  Don't think so, not when the inflation reports are not out yet.

      With about 1.5 hours to go before Tuesday trading resumes after Monday - US Labour Day, TSLA managed to eke out a marginal gain to open at +0.20% higher. Will this persist to end of day ?  Only time will tell.

      TSLA, cont'd to fall this Week or Rally?

      @JC888
      $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ stock finished the week ending 04 Sep 2026, on a downward slope, retreating from its Thursday peak. (see below) The broader market landscape presents an immediate headwind, with (a) rising Treasury yields and (b) tighter macroeconomic conditions applying sector-wide pressure on technology growth equities. However, TSLA’s specific price decline stems from company-specific hurdles that threaten to linger into the coming week. Wall Street’s lukewarm reaction to the long-anticipated Austin Cybercab event on Thu, 03 Sep 2026, reflected growing investor fatigue over high-concept showcases that lack immediate commercial execution. The event itself, unusually muted and missing CEO Elon Musk’s signature grandstanding, failed to deliver

      Just ahead of the regular trading resumption on Tue, 08 Sep 2026, US stock index futures traded lower.  Dow Jones Futures fell roughly -0.80% to 53,013.00. S&P 500 Futures fell about -0.31% to 7,698.25. Nasdaq Futures hovered near flat at roughly 29,536.25 amid surging oil prices, with Brent crude futures at $98.74 a barrel (as of writing).  This week's producer inflation reports will be crucial and likely set the tone when the FOMC team convenes next week where interest rate will be tabled for a hike, yet again.

      Before trading resumes on Tue, 08 Sep 2026 - enclosed is a recap of TSLA's last Friday closing. (see attached) The EV maker closed down by -5.92% to close the week at $354.08 per share.  This as US market fell across the board, owing to a relatively stronger than expected US Non-farm payroll report.

      Replying to @jigglyp:Hi, thanks forsharing your views.  Elon first talked about autonomous driving in 2015.  11 years on, TSLA is still a proof of concept while Waymo (still loss making) is bringing in more revenue. Rather bet on GOOG than TSLA. In about 4 weeks, Q3 earnings will be here again.  What excuse/s will Elon cook up this time ? Any Wall Street stock that misses so many deadlines and earnings would have delisted, TSLA is resilent, that I admit. Original EVs might have been pioneers but now its trailing Chinese EVs.  No American will be able to enjoy & experience it. Pity.//@jigglyp:Regulatory overhang feels loud, but autonomy progress is

      Dell lives on its Fri, 04 Sep 2026 'high' closing for another day as today, Mon - 07 Sep 2026 is US Labor Day.  US stock exchanges are closed and resumes trading on Tuesday.  My bad for not knowing...

      DELL, the next Magnificent 7 ? Really ?

      @JC888
      For years, $Dell Technologies Inc.(DELL)$ was viewed primarily as a mature PC and enterprise hardware company. It is profitable, well established and important to corporate IT departments, but hardly the type of dominant technology stock investors would place alongside $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ , $Microsoft(MSFT)$ or $Amazon.com(AMZN)$. Artificial intelligence (AI) buildout is rapidly changing that perception. Dell has emerged as one of the primary beneficiaries of the enormous buildout in AI infrastructure, supplying the servers, storage and networking equipment needed to turn billions of dollars of advanced semiconductors into fu
