Buying the Dip? CRWD Is on My Radar 👀 Market’s pulling back, and I’m looking for opportunities instead of panicking over the red numbers. One stock I’m watching is CrowdStrike (CRWD). With AI and cloud adoption growing, cybersecurity isn’t going away anytime soon. I still like the long term story. But a good company doesn’t automatically mean a good buy. CRWD can still be expensive even after a pullback, so I’m not rushing in just because the price is down. My plan? Watch the valuation and fundamentals, and consider buying gradually if the price becomes more attractive. No need to catch the exact bottom or go all-in too early. For me, buying the dip is about having a plan, not buying every stock that turns red.

      C. Check your margin balance, margin requirements, concentration and excess liquidity, while keeping some buffer. This option focuses on risk management, which is especially important when holding a leveraged position through a potentially volatile event like an earnings announcement. Managing risk before a major market event can help prevent unexpected margin calls or forced liquidation if the stock moves unfavorably.

Oil above $100 won't climb forever. demand destruction kicks in eventually, growth slows. Supply shocks could push it higher, but expect a bumpy ride, not a straight rally. Winners: low cost energy producers with solid balance sheets, plus oilfield services and pipelines as spending ramps up. Losers: airlines, transport, fuel heavy businesses. Consumer discretionary takes a hit too, manufacturers feel margin pressure. I wouldn't chase oil after a rally though. I'd rather own businesses that benefit without depending on it.

S&P 500 reaching another record high is exciting, but I don’t think a new high automatically means it’s time to buy aggressively. There are plenty of reasons to remain optimistic. Many of the largest companies in the index continue to report strong earnings, while AI, cloud computing and other technology trends are creating new opportunities for businesses. If corporate earnings continue to grow, today’s expensive-looking valuations could look more reasonable several years from now. Still, I think investors should be careful about getting caught up in the excitement. Markets don’t move higher in a straight line, and periods of strong momentum can make it easy to underestimate the possibility of a correction. Buying simply because everyone else is making money can be a dangerous strateg
