$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ Just gotten this lot of early assignment of SPY. The contract is not due until the next day on Friday. It's about $9 in the money as per the closing value of SPY vs the CSP's strike. Feel strange about this assignment as $9 is almost consider at the money or only slightly in the money. The 24hr trading SPY is trending up. The early assignment seems a bit uncalled for. 🤨
$IONQ 20260821 35.0 PUT$ Sharing for coin. Thus put the was roll d couple of times when it b can deep in the money and didn't want to take assignment of. This expires tomorrow, and looking to likely expire worthless, though this ain't the real 'profit' of the whole trade. It's quite a fair bit smaller 😅.
$CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV)$ Am glad to have made the decision to let this lot of underlying to be called away last Friday when the covered call option was slightly in the money on expiration day. Was tempted to roll it slightly higher and collect more premiums, however the technical looks rather weak after the run up from its earnings. 3 continuous day of red candles with long upper wick. Looks like market is taking profit. Gonna start new cycle of week once there's a new opportunity to sell CSP when there's a further dip.
$CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV)$ The covered call for this lot of CRWV expired just couple of cents in the money. Technically looks a little indecisive direction to a little bearish after its run up from its earning reports. While o can easily roll the call contract up a couple of dollars and still collect a decent premium, but decided to end this wheel cycle. Will find another opportunity to enter CSP when there's a dip in price action. Happy to take profit for now.
$CoreWeave, Inc.(CRWV)$ This week's winner. CRWV risen almost 30% at some point after its earnings reports. It has however erased about half of those gain to be just about over 15% of gain now. I have a covered call with strike at 105. Shall leave it to see if the share will be called away when Friday market closes as the share price drifted in and out of the said strike. Will continue to sell call with close to the money strike come next week if the market closes below my strike. But am happy to take profits if the shares get called away too. Shall then starts a new wheel by selling out contracts again.
$AMD 20261218 450.0 CALL$ Closing a call on AMD that was bought 2 weeks ago. This call was a lot more profitable when few days back, unfortunately The share price been declining and has dipped below my to close level. Smaller profit better than back to negative which I often ended up with and kicking myself for that.
$SPCX 20260821 115.0 PUT$ Last week both my SPCX cash secured put contracts expired worthless as its share price rebounded after the lock up period. While I sell CSP on SPCX, I have yet to have an idea at what price point do I really want to own the underlying. Will set my strike price as resistance and support level, and depending on price action where the price will be at time of expiration to decide if to take on assignment or to roll it if the share price do drop below my strike. This new CSP included.
$MU 20260807 590.0 PUT$ High IV High Risk High return Possibly one of the highest single premium collected for a under 2 week CSP contract Looking to continue selling CSP on MU base on technical support.
$ASML 20261218 1740.0 CALL$ Bought this Call towards end day base on technical. The share price was trending higher but retreated towards end day. RSI is Turing positive on daily candle. Looking to be likely a Green Day to follow. Green Day it was on Friday. But the green also didn't last long, went flat after the spike in the morning session. Despite the retreat it was still a good day decided to take money off the table instead of holding over the weekend. Not too bad for a 1 day trade nonethless.
