Alibaba Group Holding reported fiscal Q2 non-GAAP earnings Tuesday of 4.36 renminbi per diluted American depositary share, down from 15.06 renminbi a year earlier.Analysts polled by FactSet expected 6.03 renminbi.Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was 247.80 billion renminbi, compared with 236.50 billion renminbi a year earlier.Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 243.75 billion renminbi.The company's shares were up more than 4% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
SAP 3Q Revenue, Profit Climb on AI Demand; Outlook Raised
SAP posted higher revenue and profit in the third quarter boosted by artificial-intelligence demand, and raised its full-year outlook.Reporting on a non-IFRS basis, the German business-software company said total revenue rose 9% to 8.47 billion euros .
