There is a verical gap at $4.50 and the lows have been test recently and rejected.  Macro economic improvements are interest rate cuts to stimulate consumption leading into Christmas shopping period.

Chinese shouldn't buy any H20 chips because specifically haa trogans and backdoors. Not to mention funding US govt, US companies. If they want to develop their own they need to ban the use of these chips for critical infrastructure.

$PLAYSIDE STUDIOS LTD(PLY.AU)$   Value investing opportunity. A chance to buy Australia's biggest  game developer and publisher. Currently managing downturn on third party game development with all the layoffs in Silicon Valley. However, it has a few games in development due for release later in the year. So can be a value play or value trap. I think it's the earlier and matter of time before it rebounds. I have taken a position at this price.

$NCM boom Following up on my last post the tailwind takeover from $NEM Now the question is what happens next. POG goes to $2500/USD raising all the boats.

$NEWCREST MINING LIMITED(NCM.AU)$   Haven't posted for a while but gold has been a very good investment in last 6 months. Newcrest is one of the safer bets in the industry long life mines, low costs and safe jurisdictions. Current tailwinds have been the gold price and takeover by $Newmont Mining(NEM)$  . The previous takeover bid was picked around $28 aud per share. But appears to be below current share price. POG probably expected rise further with dedollarisation theme. China and Russia does not feel safe with USDs and probably many more countries including India currently neutral.

$New Hope(NHC.AU)$Recent quarterly update from NHC. It has generated $380M ebdita for 3 months to end of April and $913M ebidta for 9 months tally.This will allow the company to generate more than $1B in ebita FY22. Not bad for company with $3.3B Mcap.Wait and see what the next dividend payment will be given previous 6 months dividend was 30 cents.

$Cooper Energy(COE.AU)$Been a while since my last post. This one is a gas company in east coast of Australia.It has recently upgraded it'S editba estimates above its previous guidance to $70-78M.The company has sorted out it's production issues at new gas plant. It is now benefiting from consistent production numbers and higher gas prices thanks to ban on Russian gas. This situation is unlikely to change soon.A price cap of $40/GJ has been placed on gas sales which is signicantly more than it's long term sale price of $8/GJ. The company is currently raking in money selling a good proportion of it's gas on the spot market.DYOR and good luck.

$New Hope(NHC.AU)$Heading back up. Big quarterly numbers coming out end of May 2022. Newcastle coal price is up and averaging over $300usd/tonne. The Australian dollar are now 70 cents.Interesting to see if the quarterly shows profits of $500M for this quarter. Which is more 50 cents in earnings per share for 3 months. Coal is printing money...who would have thought?
