$Apple(AAPL)$ I don't think the price action was really about the new product reveals. Macro conditions were rough for AI and semis, and tech overall. Meanwhile, Apple is still a revenue and cash flow monster with relatively little CapEx.

$Apple(AAPL)$ HSBC is staying with a Buy on Apple into the iPhone launch event. Analyst Nicolas Cote-Colisson keeps a Buy rating and a $366 price target. The firm expects an iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, the iPhone Ultra, and a new Apple Watch. The iPhone Ultra would be Apple's first book-style foldable, a segment Samsung currently leads. HSBC also expects iPhone prices to go up by at least $100 because of the extra memory costs, and points out that Apple's brand commands high pricing power.

That follows a 46% YoY increase in June and marks the largest YoY gain since mid-2025. Since the start of 2021, US data center construction spending has kept climbing. And yet there are still people out there trying to short AMD.
