SG60: Majulah Singapura! What's Your National Day Plan?
Tomorrow marks Singapore’s 60th National Day! National Day Parade (NDP) tickets this year seem even harder to get than concert tickets! 🎟️ The ballot is completely random, and earlier this year.
But don’t worry—even if you didn’t win a ticket, you can still join the nation in celebrating this once-in-a-generation 60th anniversary with the spectacular annual fireworks and many other activities.
Record-Breaking Parade Line-Up!
Get ready for a full ceremonial showcase featuring:
Presidential and Prime Minister’s arrival ceremonies; State Flag flypast and salute; The thrilling “Feu de Joie” rifle volley; 21-gun salute at the Bay area; Military bands and student orchestras performing national favourites throughout the event
Themed Performances
The 2025 National Day Parade will span across the Padang and Marina Barrage, presented in four themed segments.
Performers will include Kit Chan, JJ Lin, and more, with the grand finale featuring the entire nation singing “Home” 🎶 while fireworks light up the Marina Bay skyline.
Heartland Celebration Sites – Fun for the Whole Family
Across the island, five “Heartland” celebration zones will be set up:
Central – Open field next to Junction 8, Bishan
North-East – Open area near One Punggol
North-West – Open space beside Yishun Futsal Arena
South-East – Open field next to Wisma Geylang Serai
South-West – Bukit Gombak Sports Hall
These events, created by grassroots volunteers and partners, will showcase the unique lifestyle and culture of each region.

Use to watch the parade pass by my house in town back then and sneaking into Padang area to watch whenever there is a chance.

What excites me the most is definitely the fireworks segment. There’s just something magical about seeing the Marina Bay skyline light up with colours, especially for such a milestone—Singapore’s 60th birthday! Even through a screen, I know the grand finale will still give me goosebumps.
National Day always stirs up a lot of pride and gratitude for me. It’s a reminder of how far Singapore has come, and how much we’ve achieved as a nation. Even if I’m not at the Padang or one of the heartland celebration sites, I’ll still be cheering from home and soaking in the spirit of the day. 🇸🇬✨

What I’m Most Excited About: Our fireworks always have the power to stir emotions. The Marina Bay skyline, lighting up with flair, feels even more magical on such a milestone year. Just imagining the grand finale gives me goosebumps.
Why It Feels Special: National Day never fails to remind me how far we’ve journeyed as a nation. Proud, grateful, and sentimental—even from my sofa, I’ll be roaring with pride and soaking up the nation’s joy.
Majulah Singapura, everyone! Let’s stand together—even if only virtually.
