$MSTR 20251017 250.0 PUT$

MSTR has been trading in a bearish channel since mid-July, consistently printing lower highs and lower lows. The new low of $279 hit last Friday bounced right off the channel’s support line. If the broader market stays soft, price could drift a bit lower, but otherwise, I expect a short-term bounce toward $300, then potentially up to the 20 EMA.

I’ve been selling CSPs 15–20% below the trend price, and last week’s contract came close to being tested by Friday’s drop. I’ve since opened a new, lower-strike CSP. After nearly a year of steady premium income from MSTR, I’m comfortable continuing this strategy. If the stock ever dips toward $230—the final strong support—I may take assignment there. Any break below that level, though, would be disastrous for the bulls.
