$CRITICAL METALS CORPORATION(CRML)$ I managed to survive another week... November doesn't seem to begin kindly for my positioning, with heavy tilt towards precious metals group and other so-called critical metals group. Yup, if you have read my numerous articles, most are about gold, silver, platinum and palladium (precious metals group or PMGs), or some critical metals like rare earth minerals, copper, lithium, etc. I am not heavy on technology, although I work in the tech industry all my life, either dealing with research, high tech manufacturing or patents.

I have sidetracked... I am in love with commodities... especially PMGs. Do you know what commodities are? They come from the word, common! Meaning basic and standardised interchangeable goods. Sound definitely silly of me to fall in love with them! [Facepalm]  [Spurting]  But, some say love is blind... [Tongue]  Yup, prices of commodities are dictated by market forces. Unlike high tech like AI or quantum computing, or biotech that treats cancer, community is simply no value-adding. The miners simply dig 🪏 out dirt and separate them. That is the beauty of it. Very simple, very straightforward. If the dirt comes with abundance of resources, a miner can make money even if the price is low. The less it needs to dig to get to the minerals, the sooner the money 💰 can roll in, while keeping cost low.

One new factor emerged in the recent price jump in some commodities. Nope, not simple supply and demand. Yup, it's politics and lots of them! Don't just blame China for closing shop on the so-called critical metals group. The world governmental bodies should be ashamed for taking turns to lay the red carpets to welcome Donald Trump's tariffs! You might argue who can blame them? US 🇺🇸 is after all a top consuming nation. It's all about politics. It's all about remaining in power. It takes two hands to clap 👏. If the world makes a concerted effort to shut US up, do you think US can actually be self-sufficient? If it really can, why would Donald Trump set up tariffs? US will be in for a very lonely Christmas. Yes, they will have all the gas ⛽️ to use. I didn't forget they do have all the major high tech companies... without the ingredients to make them work!

I have again digressed... politics... who am I to judge right or wrong? But it's this new factor that counts and keeps this rare earth minerals miner going... China 🇨🇳 might have signed a truce on rare earth minerals with US 🇺🇸, from what we see, the uncertainty is as ever present. China has continued to put export restrictions on certain critical metals like tungsten, antimony... and now even silver! The list could just creep up... the devil 😈 is in the details... so, nope... politics as it is, is anything but straightforward. We never know what we get until we get to it...

CRML is then relevant... for the long haul. I am looking to build position again once I have consolidated my cash position. The miner is borne out of political manipulation anyway, a kind of "forced-marriage" if you may (see my old article on the brief history of CRML if interested to know more). The party 🥳 has not end... definitely not for rare earth minerals and other critical metals... watch this space...

It is all so strange. I was quietly cursing my luck when 2 of my lots got called away in its last rally, as I had sold calls on them… now, I am counting my blessings and looking to re-enter when the appropriate time returns… yup, a likely longer term play not for the faint heart…
