I’m fully on board with the space-stock rally, and the excitement around a potential SpaceX IPO really feels like Tesla in 2019—right before its major breakout. Space names such as $Destiny Tech100 Inc(DXYZ)$ , XOVR, Rocket Lab, Firefly, Planet Labs, SATS, AST SpaceMobile are gaining because investors finally see space infrastructure as a scalable, long-term growth sector.

What’s driving this momentum is the belief that SpaceX is evolving far beyond a launch company. Starlink, defense contracts, rapid-launch capability, even the idea of space-based data centers are expanding its valuation outlook. Strong earnings from Planet Labs & SATS’s multibillion-dollar spectrum deal with SpaceX further validate the sector’s strength.

And yes—if SpaceX goes public in 2026, I would definitely join the IPO. Elon Musk has a track record of creating transformational companies. For me, SpaceX represents a rare chance to invest in the next major technological frontier.

valuation on SPACEX is based on today's price not that of an IPO where they breakout Starlink as separate company. It , Starlink could be worth more than SpaceX by itself. Sat phones to the world and WiFi. humm you guys are thinking small. IMO

  • So shyon, I’m optimistic about the space X IPO, but really need to analyze the financials. There will be lots of comparisons between spacex and $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$ going forward. But what many don’t fully understand is that rocket lab is the largest global producer of reaction wheels, star trackers, number 2 for space solar panels. Soon to be number one globally in laser coms. And a host of other space systems. The better spacex does, the better rocket lab does. Not to mention that on the space data center front rocket lab currently has a test crio satellite in space, cooling technology that will be critical for space data centers. I’d go on and on, but it’s all there on the rklb website.
My big concern for spacex is r&d cost on starship, and ROI for missions to the moon and mars. And starlink. Its fantastic I have it, but when $asts gets broadband to cell, I’m sorry but starlink is a dead duck

1 trillion $ + , valuation coming for Space x. Data centers in space will catapult this IPO to happen sooner rather than later in 2026.
