🚨 MSTR ISN’T JUST BITCOIN ANYMORE — AND THAT’S THE INTERESTING PART
Bitcoin is back above $85K, but the bigger story may be what’s happening around the Bitcoin ecosystem.
Strategy $Strategy(MSTR)$ just bought another 950 BTC for $75.7M, taking its total holdings to 846,000 BTC — roughly 4% of Bitcoin’s eventual 21M supply. 
But here’s the detail I find more interesting:
Strategy spent $174M buying back its own STRC preferred shares during the same period — more than twice what it spent on Bitcoin.
And it didn’t sell MSTR shares through its ATM program. 
That changes the conversation.
MSTR isn’t simply:
Bitcoin price → MSTR price
It’s becoming a much more complicated equation involving:
₿ Bitcoin holdings
💰 Capital structure
📈 BTC per share
🏦 Preferred securities
🔄 Share issuance/buybacks
🎯 Investor expectations
That complexity is exactly why MSTR can sometimes move very differently from Bitcoin.
The question I’m watching now isn’t simply:
“Will Bitcoin go higher?”
It’s:
“How much premium will investors continue to place on Strategy’s ability to accumulate Bitcoin and manage its capital structure?”
Because when you’re buying MSTR, you’re not just buying Bitcoin.
You’re buying the strategy around the Bitcoin. 👀
