U.S. stock futures fell sharply early Thursday as Russia attacked Ukraine. Dow futures fell 720 points, or 2.18%, while futures tied to the S&P 500 were down 2.13%. Nasdaq 100 futures declined 2.73%.

Meanwhile, oil prices popped, with West Texas Intermediate futures trading 8.24% higher at $99.69per barrel. Global benchmark Brent jumped 8.16% to $105 per barrel, passing the $100 level for the first time since 2014.🎁Reward

    Of course all the stock prices dropped, just to varying severity. Watch for further price weakness and slowly add when the price is right. May end up having to do multiple DCAs.

    I will look at a bigger picture ie P/L from overall portfolio. If US counters r down but Asian r up,I m still safe. Then i might consider to channel some $ to Asian but trade with extreme care.

    Never let Mr Market impulsive mood affect your ability to think rationally. If I'm running out of cash, just close my brokerage access and enjoy time with family, do nothing. Else invest as per plan😊

    I was lucky i sold most of my positions back in Dec 2020 to take profit. And sold the rest in end Jan 2021 with some loss. Was lucky did not to hold much now. Waiting to buy all at a a discount.

    Understand the conflict situation. Isolated or global impact? Buy good value if isolated. If global impact stay sideline or short. Mar earning forecast is questionable and inflation is bad. Takecare.
