Intel (INTC) Stock Surges on Revenue Beat and Government Investment

Intel shares rose 9% after beating revenue estimates and securing major investments from the U.S. government, Nvidia, and SoftBank. TLDR Intel shares jumped 9% in premarket trading after beating third-quarter revenue expectations with $13.65 billion versus $13.14 billion estimated. The U.S. government became Intel’s top shareholder in August 2025 with a 10% stake through an $8.9 billion investment negotiated by the Trump administration. Intel received multi-billion-dollar investments from Nvidia and SoftBank, with Nvidia taking a $5 billion stake in September 2025. CEO Lip-Bu Tan’s cost-cutting efforts included slashing over 20% of the workforce, reducing headcount from 124,100 to 88,400 employees year-over-year. Intel stock has rebounded 90% in 2025, outperforming both Nvidia and AMD, tho

$Intel(INTC)$   I'm really encouraged by Intel's latest third-quarter sales report, which beat expectations with $13.65 billion in revenue compared to the estimated $13.14 billion. The recovery in demand for their core x86 processors for PCs is a strong signal that the company is regaining its footing. Seeing an EPS of 23 cents, even if not directly comparable to analyst estimates, reinforces my confidence. With the U.S. government stepping in as the top shareholder with a 10% stake in August, I feel there's a solid foundation for stability and growth. Looking ahead, I remain bullish on Intel in the long run. The resurgence in processor demand suggests that Intel is well-positioned to capitalize on the ongoing n

Intel CEO just shared that he is making plans to rebuilding Intel. It is sad to hear that such a big well-known organisation only just started thinking about rebuilding the company? It means all these years are wasted and "sleeping". AMD and Nividia has already reinvented themselves and their shares are rising steadily. Intel is like Kodak. While everyone is keeping trend to reinvent to the trends of the consumers, Kodak did nothing that led to the collapse of the well-known and well-loved brand. Similarly, we only want to buy Intel chips in laptops and computers. As AMD has advanced tremendously, consumers are opting for AMD.  I will be queuing to sell ALL of my Intel shares. Why the US Bull Market Will Persist: Three Key Reasons Behind Our Confidence

Recently, the US stock market has experienced significant volatility, primarily due to the government shutdown caused by the debt ceiling impasse and the new round of intensified US-China trade tensions initiated by the Trump administration. This led to a sharp decline in global risk assets. The Nasdaq index, dominated by technology stocks, once fell more than 3.5%, while market risk aversion notably increased, with both gold prices and US Treasury yields rising. On October 10, the volatility index (VIX), reflecting market panic, surged to 21.66, indicating a tense market atmosphere. From a valuation perspective, US stocks are generally overvalued, especially Nasdaq tech stocks, whose valuations have exceeded levels before the tariff hike in April this year.
