$Singtel(Z74.SI)$  With a substantial SGD1.19 billion and a robust EBITA growth of up to 27% amounting to S$738 million, the company demonstrated remarkable financial performance. The previous years gain is due to the issurance of shares (an one of event) by Telkomsel to intergrate Indihome. so it's not really a decrease in net profit it's just a one-time giving of shares. Thus, the current year's lower growth rate isn't necessarily due to a drop in performance but rather the absence of that previous one-time gain. The interim approved dividend is 7.0 cents per share for this quarter report The second dividend of 8.9 cents per share will be paid on December 9, 2024.

The Super Rich choising Singapire as the world’s safest haven to park their money iis both good and bad news to the average Singaporeans. Singapore’s political stability and the government’s friendly policy to let the Super Rich people set up Home Office in Singapore is the main motivation for the rich to invest in Singapore. Their investments move the price of Singapore’s real estate up. Many Singaporeans feel they are now ‘richer’ because tge price of their property has appreciated greatly. But many Singaporeans also feel poorer because those planning to buy a property cannot catch up with the increase in price.

Its obvious that SG is a prime choice for investments as: 1. Its a stable economy 2. Corruption is low 3. More potential upside due to positive flywheel effect. On real estate prices, private property or commercial property prices are likely to trend up, with little effect on local HDB houses. What are your thoughts? [Grin]
