One of my biggest takeaways is that STI crossing 5,000 is more than just a psychological milestone. What stood out to me was how institutional investors are looking beyond today's level, with some forecasting 6,000 and even 10,000 over the longer term. It reminded me to focus on long-term wealth creation instead of short-term market noise. I also found the discussion on ETF growth and capital inflows very insightful. The combination of MAS initiatives, growing ETF adoption and Singapore's reputation as a safe and stable financial hub gives me more confidence in the long-term outlook for the local market. My investment approach remains to stay diversified and keep investing consistently rather than trying to time every market move. I'll continue watching the STI, REITs and quality Singapor

$SpaceX(SPCX)$ While market anxieties recently centered on the cash flow health of major tech giants, SpaceX’s financials present an extreme divergence in capital intensity and cash burn relative to operational scale: Disproportionate Capital Intensity: SpaceX generated $3.4 billion in operating cash flow while deploying $34.5 billion in investing cash flow. For comparison, AWS generates $42.2 billion in revenue against a roughly $20 billion capital expenditure program. Conversely, SpaceX deployed $34.5 billion in cash and $15.8 billion in capital expenditures ($18.4 billion including rockets and satellites) off a total quarterly revenue base of $7.8 billion, of which only $2.5 billion was AI-derived. Unsustainable Burn-to-Funding Ratio:

SanDisk Beat Estimates, Western Digital Still Fell: Memory Stocks Now Trade on Guidance

$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$and $Western Digital(WDC)$ both reported strong results. SanDisk posted revenue of $8.97 billion and adjusted EPS of $39.25. Western Digital reported revenue of $3.75 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.56. Both beat expectations. Yet the market reaction remained weak. The key takeaway is simple: memory fundamentals are still strong, but investors no longer reward past results. They only care about how much guidance can beat expectations. 🔥 1. SanDisk’s Profit Surge Still Depends on Pricing SanDisk’s revenue rose 51% quarter over quarter. Roughly two-thirds of the increase came from higher prices, while only one-third came from shipment growth. This confirms

$Zeta Global Holdings Corp.(ZETA)$   $ZETA: Strong Execution Finally Being Rewarded by the Market: In my view, today’s move in $ZETA is fully justified. The company was trading at just around 3x sales despite delivering roughly 40% revenue growth, recently achieving profitability, posting record operating margins, and extending its streak of 19 consecutive beat-and-raise quarters. For a long time, the stock appeared to be weighed down by the broader SaaS sentiment and a lack of appreciation for the strength of its competitive moat. However, there comes a point where consistent execution becomes impossible to ignore. Supply-side pricing can persist, but it rarely lasts indefinitely. The key question is when supply catches up with demand, especially in NAND. Given what Apple and Amazon have said about tighter memory supply and higher costs, pricing power could realistically extend for another 2 to 4 quarters if: AI infrastructure spending remains strong. Manufacturers maintain production discipline instead of aggressively adding capacity. Enterprise SSD demand continues to improve alongside hyperscaler investment. The main risks are: New NAND capacity ramping faster than expected. Weaker consumer electronics demand limiting volume growth. Customers delaying purchases if prices rise too far. For SanDisk and Western Digital, the most important signals are not just this quarter's results, but: Gross margin

Analyzing MARA Holdings: Q2 2026 Earnings Comparison and Strategic Investment Approaches for Pre- and Post-Earnings Release

$MARA Holdings(MARA)$ s scheduled to report its Q2 2026 financial results on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Analysis: Upcoming Q2 2026 vs. Q1 2026 Earnings What Happened in Q1 2026 (The Benchmark) Massive Bottom-Line Drag: MARA reported a wide net loss of -$3.31 per share (vs. -$1.41 expected) and revenue of $174.6 million. Bitcoin Mark-to-Market Impact: The headline loss was dominated by a $1.0 billion non-cash fair value charge on its digital assets, as Bitcoin dropped ~22% during Q1 2026. Because MARA holds tens of thousands of BTC on its balance sheet ("HODL" strategy), mark-to-market rules create significant earnings volatility. Post-Halving Margin Squeeze: Cost of sales rose significantly post-April 2024 Bitcoin halving

🌟🌟🌟 $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ new cooperation with $SpaceX(SPCX)$ effectively positions NVIDIA as the infrastructure backbone for the next generation of AI - both on the ground and in space. This is an exclusive deal with SpaceX according to Elon Musk as he will only use NVIDIA chips to build SpaceX AI infrastructure. Both SpaceX and NVIDIA are co-designing the compute payload for Starmind AI1.  This massive 30 metre satellite will place a data center class AI rack into low Earth orbit by 2027. As a long term investor of NVIDIA, I am excited by this latest announcement as there will be exponential growth ahead. NVIDIA is a great buy currently despite 5 straight days of stock gains as it trades at a remarkably

🌟🌟🌟Does $Alphabet(GOOG)$ have a cavernous moat or is it a bottomless money pit?  Google is currently spending a massive USD 13 billion every single quarter on AI infrastructure, causing institutional investors much anxiety. However Google has its own custom Tensor Processing Units or TPU chips.  While its competitors have to pay NVIDIA for its expensive chips, Google can simply boot up its own hyper efficient TPU clusters . Google isn't throwing money into a bottomless pit.  It is actually digging a deep canyon around its digital empire. The smart investor would buy the dips driven by Capex hysteria.  Google's infrastructure will print money for the next 2 decades. @Tiger_co

Tensions Ease, Yet Gold Is Back Near $4,300: What Is the Market Really Trading?

U.S. gold futures traded near $4,330 after recording their largest one-day increase since February. (Reuters) Gold-mining stocks showed even greater momentum. On August 5, gold futures rose approximately 3.5% and reclaimed their 50-day moving average. The $VanEck Gold Miners ETF(GDX)$ jumped about 7.3%, while $Newmont(NEM)$, $Agnico Eagle Mines(AEM)$ and

Why Thomson Reuters’ AI Growth Could Not Prevent a 10% Valuation Reset

$Thomson Reuters(TRI)$ is trying to turn a possible threat into an advantage. Generative AI can make legal and tax research faster, but it can also weaken the value of traditional information subscriptions. The second-quarter report showed that the company’s authoritative content and professional workflows are still producing strong growth, even as the stock’s sharp decline revealed continuing doubt about how durable that advantage will be. Thomson Reuters reported on August 5 for the quarter ended June 30. Revenue increased 9% to $1.95 billion, while adjusted earnings reached $0.99 per share, above the roughly $0.96 expected. The company raised its full-year organic-revenue forecast to approximately 8%. Legal Professionals revenue grew 10%, Tax &a
