$Micron Technology(MU)$ It finally looks ready to move, with plenty of room to run as it wants, and only 3 more weeks until the next ER on September 30. The setup is getting interesting. Now let the chart do the talking and give it room to breathe. The casino is going to be very volatile.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ I really don't get why sentiment is this bearish. They are literally printing money with no end in sight. Not sure where all the negativity is coming from.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ The company has sold out production for two years in advance, yet market makers are still pushing the stock around 5% either way on any small piece of news that has nothing to do with the company's strong sales.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Here's a simplified chart going back to March. The horizontal lines mark a couple of Fibonacci retraces. The Granite Shares and Defiance ETFs really blew out the chart in May and June, and the subsequent retrace was just as sharp. The Leverage Shares ETF (MUG) started moving on Thursday or Friday, but saw little to no volume. The more leveraged the ETF, the less volume and participant coverage each one gets. As many have learned with other targeted ETFs, no volume can leave you trapped if you build any position at all. Other than that, the chart shows a steady progression in the stock price as the algos remain in buy mode. Last week Micron and SanDisk did well, especially considering SOXL gave up 25% of its value.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Nvidia's latest statement and Micron's news from last week seem to have been the trigger for Micron this week. Micron could really take off from here.
$Ring(REI)$ Oil stocks are heating up. First $2, then $5 from here. The Iran war is pushing oil prices higher while the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Treasury is doubling their buybacks to bring treasury rates down. The rising yields were what spooked investors recently. Now the president is live meeting with tech leaders and they're talking about winning the AI race. Micron is THE USA memory producer. The administration is pro Micron and their policies will lean positive for the stock. They also recently stated they are against allowing China's memory to degrade Micron's market share.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Not a fan of days like this. But I guess it'll make that $2K feel a bit sweeter. I like Cramer, but his recommendations really do seem cursed.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ The U.S. government is pushing Apple to stop sourcing memory chips from China. Feels like this could be a pretty direct tailwind for Micron.
$Micron Technology(MU)$ Right at the 50-day moving average, the key thing is whether it can close above that level rather than seeing a derisking move by the end of the session. IV expansion in the options market is likely as we move toward earnings. The $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ investor event came across as quite bullish when looking out to FY27, with a tighter market backdrop. Both names are attempting to break out here. Continuation is what matters. We are close to what could be the next rally.
