🌍 History is not a passive tapestry, it is an alchemist’s crucible, and its boldest goldsmiths have been women. On this Women’s Day Event, we gather to honour those who forged brilliance from the raw chaos of their time. Unwilling to merely reflect the world’s dim glow, they smelted their own light, transmuting science, circuits, fortunes, justice, and nations into legacies of molten gold. ✨
Behold five alchemists whose craft remade us, unfolding the answers as follows:
1️⃣ 👩🔬 Marie Curie, She plunged into the abyss of the unseen, distilling the atom’s wild essence into radium and polonium. “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood,” she declared, her philosopher’s stone illuminating science at the cost of her own radiant life.
2️⃣ 👩💻 Lisa Su, Mistress of silicon’s arcane art, she spun AMD’s faltering foundry into a gleaming colossus. “The best products come from the best teams,” she insists, her circuits pulsing with tomorrow’s breath, a testament to collective alchemy under her steady hand.
3️⃣ 👩💼 Cathie Wood, A diviner of wealth’s molten flow, she pours bold visions into the furnace of the future. “Innovation is inherently controversial,” she proclaims, gilding risk with prophecy to redefine prosperity in a world clinging to the cautious.
4️⃣ 👩⚖️ Kamala Harris, Warden of law’s sacred forge, she hammered ceilings into stepping stones as America’s first woman Vice President. “You never have to ask anyone permission to lead,” she asserts, her ascent a molten hymn to equity forged through relentless will.
5️⃣ 👩🎤 Margaret Thatcher, A tempest of iron alchemy, she fused resolve with dominion to recast Britain’s fate. “You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it,” she warned, her unyielding flame transforming a nation, revered or contested, but never ignored.
These five, Marie Curie, Lisa Su, Cathie Wood, Kamala Harris, Margaret Thatcher, were not mere figures on history’s stage, they were its conjurers. With intellect as their bellows, courage as their anvil, and defiance as their spark, they turned obstacles into gold. At this Women’s Day Event, we don’t just recount their triumphs, we inhale their audacity, letting it transmute our own doubts into daring. 🌟
💡 Who are the alchemists in your orbit, known to millions or known only to you, whose quiet metallurgy has shaped your world? Today, we name them, not as relics, but as catalysts still igniting change. “The question isn’t who’s going to let me, it’s who’s going to stop me?” They answered with molten gold, and so must we. ✨
🌟 To all women, past, present, and yet to rise, may your minds remain furnaces of boundless wonder, your spirits anvils of unbreakable resolve, and your dreams the gold that gilds tomorrow. The world turns on the axis of your quiet revolutions; may it ever turn in your favor. ✨
Cheers, BC! 🚺💹📈🍀🍀🍀

My mother - if it is not for her n my father, I won’t be in this world. She takes care of me the day I was born. Now it is my turn to take care of her of her old age.
At times, she drives me up the wall. Just like how my engineers and customers do that to me. I take a step back n think. Maybe that’s how I treated her when I was young. [Happy][LOL][Chuckle].
Anyway, sometimes I just ignore her or when I have a terrible day, I will yell at her or I go to my room n take a nap. When I went to my room, she knows that I am very annoyed with her. For the next 30mins or an hour, she will be so obedient that she dares not make any single noise as she worries that I will not cook her meals for the day. 🤭😅😂 very mean daughter! 😇🤭🫣😊

As for an inspiring woman in my life, I’d like to highlight Marie Curie. Her groundbreaking research in radioactivity not only earned her two Nobel Prizes but also paved the way for advancements in science and medicine. Despite the challenges she faced as a woman in a male-dominated field, she remained dedicated to her work and left an incredible legacy. Her perseverance and passion for discovery inspire me to push boundaries and never stop learning.

In Singapore there have been some outstanding women leaders such as the late Mrs Lee Kuan Yew who played a pivotal role in helping Mr Lee Kuan Yew to build and forge the path of independence and future success of Singapore.
Then there is Mrs Helen Wong , CEO of OCBC who is responsible for the continued success of Singapore's second largest bank.
I would also like to pay tribute to all mothers, especially my dearest mum who has always been there for me , supporting and encouraging me through life's challenges.
Let's celebrate this International Women's Day with much joy and gratitude for All Women globally. The world is a better place because of you .

My inspiration woman is my wife. She is the elder of the family. She take care of her family well by setting up a saving account. She and her siblings will start to make contributions to the saving account every months when they start working It is an emergency money that used to support the family members like grandparents, parents or aunt when there is a need. She really took well care of my family members too. I like her vision, caring and determination. @winnerking @LMSunshine @LplMichelle

4️⃣👩🌏️Kamala Harris,
5️⃣👩·🎤Margaret Thatcher,
乾杯,BC!🚺💹📈🍀🍀🍀
