🛫✈️🌴🌊☀️While most see a 4-day reprieve, I saw latent opportunity, and arbitraged the corporate calendar with surgical precision 🧠. Three days of leave between Easter Monday and Anzac Day on 25 April unlocked a pristine 10-day stretch of uninterrupted freedom, flawlessly executed ✅.
This Monday, I’m jetting to the Bay of Islands ✈️, where nature and narrative intertwine in a tapestry of stillness and splendour 🌿. I’ll trace the scalloped shoreline of Paihia 🌊, where the sea glitters like crushed sapphire 💎, and ferries hum toward Russell with the rhythm of a slower century ⛴️. I’ll wander Kerikeri’s orchard-sweet air 🍊, past stone storehouses and riverside walkways laced with citrus and history 🏞️. And at Kauri Cliffs ⛳, that clifftop sanctum where ancient trees watch over world-class fairways 🌲, I’ll pause beneath skies so wide they feel unowned ☁️.
This isn’t just annual leave, it’s the art of escape, composed in real time ✍️. Because the savviest moves aren’t always on a screen 📉, sometimes they’re made on a map 🗺️.

There’s something so grounding about being surrounded by familiar faces, home-cooked meals, and the slower pace of life. I can’t wait to hold my baby in my arms, take slow walks with my family, and just be present without distractions. We’re planning to visit a few local spots too — maybe the riverside, maybe a hidden food gem only locals know.

So nice to have breakfast on q quiet Friday morning without the hustle and bustle hurrying me along.
Staying in Singapore is equally enjoyable when there is inner peace... Ummmm.....
