Back in August, ASML bounced off the support line of its bullish channel around $680, climbed to $770, then retraced. I had noted that if price revisited the channel support, I’d consider entering—but when it came down to $720, I chickened out amid bearish sentiment. That’s one of those “if only…” moments of 2025.
Since then, ASML has rocketed past $1,000 in just a month. I had sold a CSP two weeks before earnings, which expired worthless as the stock held firm post-report. I also bought some calls to ride the rally—one of which I’m still holding, currently up nicely. The MACD’s bearish momentum is fading; if it flips bullish in the coming week or so, I’ll likely keep holding until the next reversal signal.
