Why Eli Lilly’s Earnings Are Now a Test of Manufacturing Capacity

Not Just Drug Demand $Eli Lilly(LLY)$’s August 5 report arrives with little doubt that demand for its diabetes and obesity medicines is strong. The harder question is whether production, pricing and access can turn that demand into sustainable earnings at a valuation that already anticipates exceptional growth. Lilly reported its first quarter on April 30. Revenue increased 56% year over year to $19.8 billion, primarily because of higher Mounjaro and Zepbound volume, partly offset by lower realised prices. Key-product revenue reached $13.4 billion, and reported earnings increased 170% to $8.26 per share. Mounjaro and Zepbound together represented 65% of quarterly revenue, demonstrating both extraordinary momentum and material concentration. Lilly’s

Why AMD Must Prove That Its AI Infrastructure Deals Are Producing Chip Revenue

$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ enters its August 4 earnings report with unusually high expectations. The company has moved beyond being primarily a challenger in personal-computer processors: data centres are now its largest growth engine, and investors want evidence that large AI deployment announcements are converting into accelerator revenue, margins and cash flow. AMD’s first quarter, ended March 28 and reported May 5, was strong. Revenue increased 38% year over year to $10.25 billion, while Data Center revenue rose 57% to $5.8 billion. Non-GAAP operating income increased 43% to $2.54 billion. Management guided for second-quarter revenue of approximately $11.2 billion, plus or minus $300 million, implying 46% growth at the midpoint, and projecte

Why GoDaddy’s AI Traction Could Not Prevent a 17% Collapse

$GoDaddy(GDDY)$ reported higher revenue, margins and free cash flow, but its shares plunged 16.7% on July 31. Investors appear unconvinced that the company’s early AI momentum is large enough to overcome slowing core growth and a cautious forecast. GoDaddy released its results after the July 30 market close. Revenue increased 7% to $1.30 billion, while operating income rose 29% to $342.5 million. Free cash flow increased 13% to $443.5 million, and its normalised EBITDA margin expanded by 210 basis points to 33.4%. GoDaddy’s official second-quarter release provides the figures. Applications and Commerce revenue increased 11%, substantially faster than the 4% growth recorded by the Core Platform division. This supports the bullish argument that GoDa

With Trump announcing that negotiations with Iran will begin on Monday, US composite futures all turned "Green" (see attached). The 180 degree change was the result of strikes call-off requests from the Gulf states of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Iran (suspect its typo and should be Iraq). Again, will the truce hold until a peace deal can be reached OR its yet another 2 steps forward, 3 steps back kind of situation. One analyst even boldly predicted that finalization maybe in the Fall of 2026. Ouch ! What do you think ?

Apple Wrote the Cheque. The Market Won't Let Micron Cash It.

$Apple(AAPL)$ fell 7.35 per cent on Friday, the only mega-cap to drop hard. The same day, $Amazon.com(AMZN)$ rose 15.32 per cent and $Alphabet(GOOG)$ 6.88 per cent. Hello everyone! $CELH Enters Smart Money Zone, $TSLA Targets $300, $SPY Pullback Still in Play

The best trade isn't always the strongest chart. Sometimes it's buying quality in a discount zone. Sometimes it's waiting. And sometimes it's simply holding your conviction through volatility. Here's my current view on $CELH, $ALAB, $TSLA, and $SPY. 1. $Celsius Holdings, Inc.(CELH)$ $CELH is back in smart money discount pricing. 65% of the time big players step in right now I’m looking for a move back toward $60 over the next year. 2. $Astera Labs, Inc.(ALAB)$ $ALAB still looks like redistribution. We could see some short term bounces in the coming months, but I’d rather wait for price to drift back into a clear discount zone. The last two times it did, we saw massive moves off the smart money area. 3.

$IREN Holds Key Support, $CIFR Eyes $16, $MRVL Still Waits for a Better Entry

Not every bullish chart deserves to be bought immediately. Some stocks are holding key support, others are approaching attractive entry zones, while a few still need more time before the risk-reward makes sense. Here's how I'm viewing $IREN, $CIFR, and $MRVL heading into August. 1. $IREN Ltd(IREN)$ $IREN short term structure still looks bullish. Price held last week’s swing low and bounced. Now we see if that level can hold into August. While this short term structure holds, I expect a break to the highs. If we sweep that low, I expect price to redistribute toward $20. 2. $Cipher Mining Inc.(CIFR)$ $CIFR still holding bullish structure. I would be a buyer around $16 if we get the pullback. 3.

OUST Estimate: What's the EBITDA Margins?

Here's my 2030 $Ouster Inc.(OUST)$ estimate: -> $950M in revenue in 2030 (41% CAGR from today / midpoint of management guidance). -> 35% EBITDA margins (bull case) -> $330M in EBITDA -> 30% EBITDA margins (base case) -> $285M in EBITDA -> $330M in EBITDA multiplied by 30x EBITDA (bull case) gives us a $9.9B EV (vs $2.4B today) -> $285M in EBITDA multiplied by 25x EBITDA (base case) gives us a $7.1B EV (vs $2.4B today).

【Live Recap 2】Investing in AI Through SGX with Kenny Loh — The Picks-and-Shovels Playbook
TOP北极篂: I agree with the "Pick & Shovel" investment logic put forward by Kenny Loh, because the real money is not necessarily the AI application standing in front of the stage, but the enterprises providing chips, equipment, testing, data centers, power and heat dissipation infrastructure behind it. Without these underlying constructions, no matter how powerful the AI model is, it can't work. Therefore, I see the development of AI more like a long-term industrial upgrade than a short-lived dot-com bubble.
