In the very short term, sellers usually move first. The earnings report removed one uncertainty, but Thursday's lock-up expiry introduces a more immediate one: potential supply. Not every insider will sell, but markets often price in the possibility before knowing the actual amount. Three scenarios are worth watching: Bullish: Insider selling is limited, demand absorbs the new shares, and the post-earnings drop becomes a buying opportunity. That would signal strong institutional conviction. Base case: Initial selling creates volatility for several sessions before the stock finds equilibrium as the market digests the additional float. Bearish: Heavy insider sales reinforce concerns over elevated AI capex and valuation, triggering further profit-taking. The Nvidia purchase commitment is a do

Supply-side pricing can persist longer than many expect, but it rarely lasts indefinitely. Today's backdrop is supportive: Apple and Amazon have confirmed tighter memory supply and rising costs, suggesting demand remains strong. AI infrastructure continues to consume large amounts of NAND for storage, supporting enterprise demand. Manufacturers have been more disciplined with capacity additions than in previous cycles, reducing the risk of immediate oversupply. However, the market will be looking beyond this quarter. Investors will focus on: Management's pricing outlook for the next two to four quarters. Customer inventory levels. Capacity expansion plans and whether new supply will outpace demand. Gross margin guidance, which is often the clearest indicator of pricing power. My expectatio

TRADE PLAN TODAY

TRADE PLAN for Wednesday 📈 $SPX gapped above the all time high near 7620 and ran to 7758 today. SPX setting up for a melt up to 8000. If SPX runs to 8000 we'll see the Nasdaq make a BIG run as well. $QQQ to 748 then 800. The market had a negative reaction to $AMD earnings so far tonight but we still have $SNDK earnings tomorrow, If SNDK can beat and have a good guidance, $SNDK to 1600+ $MU to 950 in play. $ARM winding up for a move to 300+ by September. We need to see a new base formed above 272 to see 300 in 4-6 weeks.

TOPbumpy: 1600+ off one beat feels a bit rich lol. I care more about SNDK cash flow and guide here

SCHD vs FDVV - the Better Income ETF !

@JC888
As I witnessed the rally and selloff in the US market semiconductor and storage sectors’ stocks, I made a mental note to divest a little more from equity into ETF; especially Income ETF. One of the ETFs that I have been monitoring for a while is $Schwab US Dividend Equity ETF(SCHD)$. Why SCHD ? Well, it functions as a core defensive income play by targetting (a) capital appreciation, (b) fundamental financial health, and (c) robust payout growth, tracking the Dow Jones US Dividend 100 Index. Below are reasons why I like this ETF. (1) Core Metrics & Performance Dividend yield: approx. +3.25% (SEC/TTM yield hovers near +3.3%) Expense ratio: 0.06% Historical dividend growth: 10-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of over +10.0%, although shor

【Livestream Clip 1|Kenny Loh & Edward Pye: STI Hit 5,000 — Is 6,000 Closer Than You Think?】

【LIVESTREAM RECAP|Celebrating Singapore's Independence: Navigating the 5,000 STI Milestone】 Hi Tigers! In this session we celebrated a real milestone — Singapore's Straits Times Index crossing 5,000. We traced STI's near-60-year path and its recent breakout, unpacked the capital flows sparked by MAS's market-revitalization program, dug into the explosive growth in ETF assets, walked through institutional forecasts for 6,000 and beyond, and closed on the next chapter of the "Singapore Story" — from safe haven to a magnet for global capital. Clear, layered, and full of substance. 🇸🇬Full replay 👉 Celebrating Singapore's Independence: Navigating the 5,0
【Livestream Clip 1|Kenny Loh & Edward Pye: STI Hit 5,000 — Is 6,000 Closer Than You Think?】
TOPShyon: One of my biggest takeaways is that STI crossing 5,000 is more than just a psychological milestone. What stood out to me was how institutional investors are looking beyond today's level, with some forecasting 6,000 and even 10,000 over the longer term. It reminded me to focus on long-term wealth creation instead of short-term market noise. I also found the discussion on ETF growth and capital inflows very insightful. The combination of MAS initiatives, growing ETF adoption and Singapore's reputation as a safe and stable financial hub gives me more confidence in the long-term outlook for the local market. My investment approach remains to stay diversified and keep investing consistently rather than trying to time every market move. I'll continue watching the STI, REITs and quality Singapore companies as part of my long-term portfolio while looking for opportunities when the market pulls back. @TigerStars @Tiger_comments @TigerClub @TBlive

【Livestream Clip 2|Kenny Loh & Edward Pye: STI Rallied Hard — But Is It Still Cheap?】
TOPJerry Lam: My biggest takeaway: The core strength of the Singapore market is not just valuation, but sustainable revenue quality. Even as STI experienced a strong rally, Dividend yields remained above 4%, illustrating that investment returns are not entirely dependent on rising stock prices. The steady cash distribution provided by sectors such as banks, utilities, telecommunications and REITs, gives the Singapore market more defensive value in a volatile environment. My allocation idea is to take STI and high-quality Dividend assets as long-term bottom positions, but not only look at the yield, but also check the dividend coverage ratio, free cash flow and debt level to avoid falling into the "high interest trap".

【Livestream Clip 3|Kenny Loh & Edward Pye: Singapore GDP at 6%? Most Investors Missed This】
TOPJerry Lam: My biggest takeaway is that Singapore's attractiveness is not just GDP growth in a given quarter, but the capital magnet effect formed by institutional credibility and industrial diversification. Finance, trade, tourism and manufacturing provide a stable chassis, while healthcare, utilities, technology, data infrastructure and logistics may breed the next batch of blue chips. Instead of just chasing the index, I pay more attention to companies in these industries with stable cash flow, improved return on capital and regional expansion capabilities. My thinking is to look at the Singaporean market as a long-term defensive allocation while looking for structural growth opportunities, rather than just looking at it as a high Dividend market.

【Livestream Clip 4|Kenny Loh & Edward Pye: Smart Investors Don’t Just Pick Stocks】
TOPJerry Lam: My biggest takeaway is that the growth of SGX ETFs is not only from institutions. Retail funds have contributed about 42%, indicating that SRS and CPF are becoming important portals for long-term index investments. Compared with idle funds, low-cost ETFs can provide better dispersion and long-term compound interest potential, but the key is still to look at expense ratio, liquidity, Dividend quality and underlying assets, rather than just looking at short-term returns. I am more optimistic about the long-term allocation idea of this "retirement account + ETF": core funds pursue stable compound interest, and individual stocks are only used as satellite positions to reduce frequent timing.

POLL >> 🪙 | AMD’s Biggest AI Test Yet: Can Massive Demand Turn Into Real Market Share?

$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Has Already Won the Demand Battle. $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ has secured gigawatt-scale commitments from OpenAI, $Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$, Anthropic, and $Oracle(ORCL)$. The stock has more than doubled over the past year as investors increasingly view AMD as the most credible alternative to $NVIDIA(NVDA)$ in AI accelerators. POLL >> 🪙 | AMD’s Biggest AI Test Yet: Can Massive Demand Turn Into Real Market Share?
TOPShyon: I voted B. I believe AMD will continue gaining AI market share over the next 18 months, but Nvidia is likely to remain the clear leader. Securing commitments from OpenAI, Meta, Anthropic and Oracle proves demand is real, but converting those commitments into large-scale production deployments is the next challenge. Te biggest indicator isn't the number of partnerships but whether AMD can consistently grow data center revenue, improve margins and successfully ramp Helios. I also want to see ROCm continue to mature because software adoption is just as important as hardware performance in enterprise AI. I'm still optimistic on AMD over the long term because AI market is expanding fast enough for more than one winner. My view is that AMD doesn't need to beat Nvidia—it only needs to keep taking incremental share in a rapidly growing market, and that alone could support meaningful earnings growth over the next few years. @TigerStars @Tiger_comments @TigerClub @WallStreet_Tiger
