I’d pick Goldman Sachs here. An earnings beat alone means less when 80%+ of companies are beating. I’d rather look at valuation, earnings quality and how much optimism is already priced in. At around 12x earnings, GS gives me more valuation cushion than chasing a high-growth stock after a major re-rating. SOFI’s growth is attractive, but expectations and valuation make execution increasingly important. I’m also cautious about calling MS a “memory supercycle” play. Morgan Stanley is primarily an investment bank and wealth manager, not a semiconductor memory company. More broadly, this earnings season reinforces one point for me: “beat” is becoming the minimum requirement. The stocks I’d favour are those that can beat, raise guidance and generate stronger cash flow without requiring ever-in
B. Hold rates steady. A hold is already heavily priced in, so I think the bigger market mover will be the guidance for December and the reaction of Treasury yields. If the Fed signals another hike, I wouldn’t automatically buy the first tech dip. I’d watch the 10-year yield and earnings first. If yields rise but profitable tech companies with strong free cash flow continue delivering earnings growth, I’d view a valuation-driven sell-off as a potential buying opportunity. But if higher yields coincide with weakening earnings, shrinking margins or AI capex rising much faster than cash generation, I’d stay patient. For me, the opportunity is not simply “tech fell, buy”. It is whether fundamentals remain strong after the discount rate moves higher.
Hong Kong Has Not Bottomed Yet. But Smart Money Is Already Building a Barbell Trade.
The Hang Seng has spent two weeks getting punished. HSI briefly fell below 23,000. HSTECH has fallen toward 3,770-3,800, its weakest level since September 2024. Then something interesting happened. The market did not suddenly buy everything. Money concentrated in two almost opposite trades: Biopharma and Mainland dividend banks. At first glance, that makes little sense. One is a high-growth innovation trade. The other is a defensive income trade. But I think the combination tells us exactly what investors are doing. They want upside, but they still do not trust the market. That is why my Hong Kong strategy is not simply: BUY THE DIP. It is: Build the barbell first. Buy the index later. 🔵 THE INDEX IS STABILISING. TECH IS NOT. This distinction matters. HSI has been trying to establish suppo
📈 Fed Holds Rates: Why I Would Dollar-Cost Average into QQQM and Wait for New Catalysts in Google and Nvidia Trade US Stock Options Pre-Market—Now on Tiger Trade
📈 Fed Holds Rates: Why I Would Dollar-Cost Average into QQQM and Wait for New Catalysts in Google and Nvidia 🐶 1. My view: A rate pause does not mean every technology stock will rally The Federal Reserve holding interest rates at 3.75%–4.00% is an important reminder that the market cannot depend entirely on interest-rate cuts to push technology stocks higher. When borrowing costs remain elevated, investors become more selective about which companies deserve premium valuations. From the market update in the screenshot, QQQ gained 0.60% and the S&P 500 rose 0.28%. However, technology stocks moved in different directions. AMD gained 3.24%, while Nvidia fell 1.17%. This divergence tells me that investors are not buying every AI-related stock indiscriminately. My approach is to separate my
$SPX Hits FVG Resistance as $GOOGL Short Delivers +11.64%
The $S&P 500(.SPX)$ tagged fair value gap (FVG) resistance and broke above the trendline drawn from recent highs, only to sell off sharply after hours. The current bias favors another move lower, with a daily close below 7,702 serving as the key trigger. Meanwhile, the $Alphabet(GOOGL)$ short setup shared on October 16 has delivered a +11.64% gain, with targets reached after earnings. 👇 🔻 $SPX — Key Levels to Watch 📍 Resistance: The daily FVG is expected to cap the next bounce. 📉 Bearish lean: A potential next wave down. 🎯 Trigger: Daily close below 7,702. ⚠️ Context: ES has already swept last week’s high, so SPX may not need to revisit that level. 💰 $GOOGL — Short Trade Update: +11.64% The October 1

The Claude Crusade: Anthropic Prepares to Storm The Stock Market
🌟🌟🌟The armour is polished, the war chests are full and the battle lines are drawn. Anthropic has just dropped its highly anticipated public S-1 Filing. The financial crusade to capture the tech world's crown is officially underway. Who is Behind the Anthropic Crusade? To understand why Wall Street is going crazy over Anthropic, you have to look at its origins. Anthropic was founded in 2021 by Dario and Daniela Amodei, a brother and sister duo who previously held top research leadership roles at OpenAI. Dario and Daniela Amodei left OpenAI in a dramatic split, taking a core group of researchers with them because they fundamentally disagreed with OpenAI's increasingly commercial, fast and loose direction. Anthropic was built to be a Publi

Why I Am Holding OCBC Through Earnings (And Laughing Off the Citi Sell Off Noise)
🌟🌟🌟Everyone, deep breaths. The Singapore market is having a bit of a moment right now, thanks largely to that recent Citi analyst commentary triggering a wave of nervous selling. But while some are hitting the panic button, I am sitting tight and holding $OCBC Bank(O39.SI)$ straight through its upcoming Q3 2026 earnings report on Friday, November 6 2026. Before this Citi induced dip, OCBC was the absolute crown jewel and top performer of the Singapore market, aggressively testing its 52 week high of SGD 32.57. One analyst comment does not mean it is time to sell. Even though the stock took a short term hit, dropping 9.73% in October, OCBC is still up a phenomenal 46.25% year todate. Wh
[Stock Prediction] SK Hynix Soars After Earnings. Is SanDisk Next?
The memory-chip rally just got another major boost. SK hynix delivered a blockbuster quarter, with revenue surging 328% year over year and operating profit jumping 632% to record highs. Investors cheered the results, sending the stock nearly 11% higher in South Korea and 13.3% higher in U.S. trading. $SK hynix(SKHY)$ The numbers reinforced a powerful theme on Wall Street: AI infrastructure spending is driving extraordinary demand for memory, while tighter supply is giving chipmakers more pricing power. $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ is set to report its fiscal first-quarter results after the U.S. market closes on October 29.Can it deliver a strong enough outlook to keep the rally going? What SK Hynix's Earnings Te
Why Leveraged ETFs Are a Terrible Way to Get Leverage (And Why Options and Futures Make Far More Sense
Leveraged ETFs like TQQQ, UPRO, and SSO look like the perfect retail product: simple to buy, no margin calls, and the promise of 2x or 3x the daily moves of an index. You click a button in your brokerage account and suddenly you have turbocharged exposure. For a lot of people, that convenience is irresistible. It is also a trap. These products are engineered for short-term trading, yet they are routinely used as longer-term leverage tools. The structural mechanics that make them work on a single day actively work against you the moment you hold them longer. In most market environments that matter choppy, volatile, or mean-reverting periods they systematically destroy capital relative to what a simple multiple of the underlying would have delivered. If your goal is intelligent leverage rath
Loser Stock That Lost the Cola War ? $Pepsi(PEP)$ has not collapsed. It has however, lost the central battle that once defined it - the cola war. Despite generating more than twice $Coca-Cola(KO)$’s revenue, PEP is worth only about ½ as much in the stock market. The reason is simple: KO owns the more profitable part of the beverage value chain. PEP in return, become a sprawling food & beverage conglomerate where soda is no longer the main priority. Numbers tell the story In FY 2025 : PEP generated roughly $93.9 billion in revenue, compared with about $47.9 billion for KO. Yet KO produced about $13.8 billion in operating profit, ahead of PEP’s $11.5 billion. KO’s operating margin was roughly 35%, more tha

The Fed Paused. Do Not Buy Everything. These Are the Assets I Want for the Next Rally.
$Strategy(MSTR)$ $Circle Internet Corp.(CRCL)$ $Micron Technology(MU)$ The Federal Reserve just held rates at 3.75%-4.00%. Stocks finished higher. And the easy conclusion is: Fed stopped hiking = buy risk assets. I think that is too simplistic. This was not a dovish pivot. It was closer to a hawkish pause. Economic growth remains strong. Inflation remains elevated. And two policymakers actually wanted another 25bp hike. So I am not positioning for: “Cheap money is back.” I am positioning for something more interesting: “The cost of money may have stopped getting worse.” Those a
SanDisk (SNDK) Navigating the AI Memory Supercycle: Earnings Setup, Capital Allocation, and Tactical Positioning
$SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ is well-positioned to ride the AI memory wave tonight, but the bar to trigger a post-earnings stock rally is exceptionally high. We saw $Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd.(SSNLF)$ fell roughly 5% due to a lack of immediate buyback details and a slightly more conservative long-term outlook compared to $SK hynix(SKHY)$. In this article, we would like to share our analysis covering the following topics. The Earnings Setup: Key metrics, implied volatility, options market pricing, and execution benchmarks. Strategic
Cloud Growth Wasn't Enough. Cash Flow Split Microsoft and Alphabet.
The Federal Reserve held rates as technology shares edged higher The $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ gained 0.60 per cent on Wednesday, while the $S&P 500(.SPX)$ rose 0.28 per cent. The Federal Reserve voted 10–2 to keep its target range at 3.75 per cent to 4.00 per cent. The two dissenters preferred a 25-basis-point increase. The statement described economic activity as strong and inflation as still elevated, offering no clear signal of imminent easing. The indices moved little during the regular session. The more important change came after the close. Microsoft and Alphabet both reported strong cloud growth, but Microsoft gained about 4 per cent in extended trading while Alphabet f
🐯 Leveraged AI ETFs Surge 20+%, Google Slides: Can Chips Keep Rallying?
Leveraged AI ETFs Surge 20+%, Google Slides: Can Chips Keep Rallying? Memory demand is improving confidence — but cash flow and interest rates will decide what comes next. | October 29, 2026 Hey Tigers! The semiconductor rebound has fresh earnings support. But the broader market is still moving cautiously, and Microsoft and Alphabet have just shown why investors are becoming more selective about the AI trade. My view: this rebound can extend if memory demand translates into higher earnings and customers keep funding infrastructure. The evidence supports a selective recovery; it does not yet establish that every semiconductor ETF has begun a durable new uptrend. 🚀 Start with the market On October 28, the Dow gained 0.19%, the S&P 500 added 0.28% and the Nasdaq rose 0.27%. 🐯 Earnings Beats Aren’t Enough: Microsoft, Alphabet and the Next Test for Stocks
Strong earnings are supporting the market — but cash flow, guidance and interest rates are deciding which stocks investors reward. Hey Tigers! 🐯 Q3 earnings season is gathering pace, but this week has made one thing clear: a strong headline result does not guarantee a higher share price. Microsoft and Alphabet reported after the October 28 close, delivering very different signals about the AI investment cycle. Microsoft’s cash generation strengthened its growth story. Alphabet’s revenue miss and deeper cash burn kept investors focused on the cost of expansion. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve held interest rates unchanged, leaving companies and investors facing continued uncertainty over borrowing costs. My view: earnings can support the market’s recovery, but the next leg higher will requir
