$Broadcom(AVGO)$ For anyone tired of getting burned repeatedly, the AI and chip stocks plus healthcare are worth a look. Medicine is always a necessity. Moderna deserves a second look. Merck just reported outstanding numbers.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ The sell-off looks like an overreaction tied to Amazon and Intel earnings, not Broadcom's own results. $350 was a solid entry point in my view. I've been adding on this dip.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Funny how someone waited all day for that while 0dte puts expired. I'm still a buyer here. Not sure why this is selling off. People are bad at math.
$POET Technologies Inc(POET)$ MRVL and LITE could actually overpower the macro basket if M&A FOMO kicks in and creates a scarcity premium in the market. A micro acceleration seems highly likely to translate directly into sustained upward momentum for POET. Also watching GOOG and AVGO.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ MSFT is expanding AI capex as well. Microsoft CFO Amy Hood said on a call with analysts that calendar-year 2026 capital expenditures would reach about $170 billion, with the company expecting capex to exceed $50 billion during the current quarter. Microsoft said its first-quarter capex reached $45.2 billion, higher than the previous quarter.
AVGO.The market is completely irrational. People freak out when Google spends too little on capex in Q3, then turn around and panic when they spend too much next year. Meanwhile, Broadcom, one of the companies that stands to gain the most from all that spending, is selling off in sympathy with Alphabet. But that makes no sense. All those billions are flowing from Alphabet to Broadcom. It's completely irrational to sell off Broadcom as Google, Meta, Anthropic, and OpenAI ramp their ASIC/TPU/XPU spending to epic levels.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Algobots have started a sell-off, which should turn into a big buying opportunity soon, and these stocks will likely be back up. The market is basically run by robots nowadays that only trade on headline news. When irrational robot-driven manipulation takes the market down, it tends to pop right back up.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ GOOGL drops on higher AI capex spending, which should be good for AVGO, yet AVGO falls in sympathy? Good grief. AVGO is already too large a position in my portfolio, but I think I'll add more if we keep dropping on good news. Still don't plan on selling a single share until we break 500 next year.
