Bank of America, Blackstone, Citi and Morgan Stanley announced a $63 billion deal to deploy AI computing capacity using Broadcom's technology for Anthropic, with deliveries expected to start in 2027. The transaction will be structured through a newly created special-purpose vehicle, funded by the four financial partners to buy AI XPUs and networking solutions from Broadcom, which will then be leased to Anthropic. Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley will arrange the senior secured financing, while Blackstone will exclusively provide the committed junior secured tranche. Broadcom will offer residual-value support equivalent to the senior financing tranche. Blackstone COO Jon Gray said surging AI demand is creating meaningful opportunities to finance large-scale computing infrastructure.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Good sign, and no algo this time? Unusual call option volume in Broadcom points to a bullish shift, with investors taking advantage of shares at 6-month lows.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, Citigroup, and Blackstone are teaming up to provide $63B in financing for Anthropic. A lot of that money will go toward buying chips from AVGO. Hock Tan is smiling.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Bank of America, Blackstone, Citi and Morgan Stanley have announced a $63 billion financing structure to support AI compute capacity, working with Broadcom on the initiative.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Anthropic just disclosed $3.5B in 1H'26 FCF, along with $130B in cash and short-term treasuries, plus another $50-$100B in IPO net proceeds coming in a couple weeks. Their quarterly financials are also showing operating leverage, with revenue growth far outpacing compute and infrastructure costs on the P&L. Hard to see what the AI bear narrative is supposed to be now.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Seeing some interesting call flow in size for the Nov. 20th calls. One order worth $480K on the 355 calls and another worth $233K on the 365 calls.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ Anthropic's S1 filing confirms just how big Broadcom's role is here. Broadcom (AVGO) is the single largest named supplier. The five-year equipment leases carry about $161.2 billion of rent for TPU-based systems, backed by a $42 billion convertible note facility that Broadcom (or a financier it assigns to) can convert into equity. For an AVGO holder, this filing is a multi-year, largely non-cancelable demand signal for TPU systems, with Broadcom also acting as lender and future shareholder.
$Broadcom(AVGO)$ This is pretty simple. Hock Tan has said Anthropic will be Broadcom's biggest customer over the next several years. So Anthropic's IPO is extremely bullish for Broadcom, period.
