$ARM Enters Long-Term Buy Zone After a 63% Selloff

$ARM Holdings(ARM)$ is now sitting at its Weekly Smart Money Zone after a nearly 63% selloff from its highs over the past 140 days. Price has entered the long-term buy range. The downside level to watch is $143, the weekly Point of Control (POC), if the selloff continues. Chip sentiment is currently in the gutter. But that may create an opportunity. $ARM is trading at a significant discount compared with June and July levels. I’ll be watching this setup over the next couple of months. Longer term, I believe $ARM is shaping up as a quality opportunity. 📊

A Tech Sell-Off and a 10-Year-Old Linux Bug: Two Crazy Stories Today

Two mind-bending things today. First, the Democrats win and immediately take off the mask. Starting to talk about regulating AI and putting a cap on datacenters. Predictably, markets took a dive. Honestly ridiculous, and hopefully just standard political posture. But looking past the noise, all they're doing is handing us a classic mispricing and a better entry point. Second one is even crazier. A massive zero-day in Linux: if you enter a password longer than 256 characters at login, it grants instant root access. Works for anyone, anywhere, and the bug has literally been sitting there untouched for a decade. The irony? It’s officially named *sshole. Go patch your systems immediately. Anything connected to the internet is essentially running fully exposed right now.
A Tech Sell-Off and a 10-Year-Old Linux Bug: Two Crazy Stories Today

Data Centers: AI's Golden Goose or the Next Political Lightning Rod?

Data Centers: AI's Golden Goose or the Next Political Lightning Rod? AI's physical backbone is being poured in concrete and copper at record speed. JPMorgan expects about $900 billion of global AI capital spending in 2026 alone, and $5.5 trillion by 2030. Nvidia's own forecast is $3–4 trillion of AI data center spending by 2030. The buildout is enormous, and it is now running into three walls at once: politics, power and investor skepticism. The power-bill backlash Virginia leads the country with 663 data centers, with Texas second at 405. Together they hold roughly 26% of all U.S. data centers. Most of the political heat comes from the PJM grid region, which covers Virginia, Ohio and Illinois. Home electricity prices there rose about 13% in Virginia, 16% in Illinois and 12% in Ohio over t

AI Data-Centre Stocks Just Took a Hit. Is the Growth Story Changing?

The AI data-centre trade had been one of the market’s biggest growth stories. But Thursday’s sharp selloff shows that investors are starting to look beyond the excitement around AI and focus on the risks of building the infrastructure behind it. Applied Digital, Cipher Mining, IREN and Nebius fell around 15%. Core Scientific dropped about 13%, while Galaxy Digital lost around 10%. CoreWeave also came under pressure. These are significant declines, but I think the bigger question is what is driving them. 1. Building data centres may become more difficult One concern is the changing political environment in the US. Following the midterm election results, investors are worried about tighter rules and greater scrutiny of new data-centre projects. Local communities are also raising concerns abo

Strong Dollar, Rising Oil: Three Signals Investors Should Watch

After a sharp fall in oil prices on Wednesday, the market saw a small rebound on Thursday. At the same time, the US dollar edged higher as investors continued to assess the impact of the US midterm elections and the ongoing conflict involving Iran. At first glance, a 2% recovery in oil may not seem significant. But after crude prices dropped more than 8% in the previous session, it shows how quickly market sentiment can change. I think investors should pay attention to three important factors: oil prices, the US dollar and the upcoming jobs report. 1. Oil prices remain a major source of uncertainty Oil prices fell sharply after the Democrats’ strong election results raised hopes that tensions involving Iran could ease. However, the situation remains unresolved. Investors are still watching

AI Selloff Deepens: Is the Chip Boom Losing Momentum?

The AI trade is facing another serious test. After Wednesday’s market rally, global stocks turned lower on Thursday as semiconductor shares suffered heavy losses. Qualcomm dropped around 9%, while the broader semiconductor sector came under strong selling pressure. According to Reuters, the Nasdaq fell around 5.2%, the S&P 500 lost 3.4%, and the Dow dropped 2.2%. The semiconductor index also plunged around 11%. This is more than a normal market pullback. Investors are starting to question whether the huge spending on AI infrastructure will deliver the returns that companies and markets are expecting. 1. Solar Stocks Soar: Is This the Start of a Clean Energy Comeback?

Clean energy stocks have suddenly moved back into the spotlight. After Democrats won control of both chambers of the US Congress in the midterm elections, investors rushed into solar and renewable energy shares. FTC Solar surged 43%, Array Technologies gained around 20%, and JinkoSolar climbed 14%. Sunrun, Nextpower and First Solar also recorded gains of more than 11%. The rally reflects a change in expectations about US energy policy. Investors believe a Democratic-controlled Congress could provide stronger support for renewable energy and make it harder to roll back existing clean energy incentives. But I think there is a bigger question: Are investors buying into a genuine improvement in the industry’s outlook, or simply reacting to a political result? 1. Policy support could reduce unc

6 Stages of a Millionaire Trader, which one are you?

Diamonds are a girl's best friend ? No More !

Diamonds fascination. In the 1953 Hollywood movie “Gentlemen prefer blondes”, movie legend Marilyn Monroe sang “Diamonds are a girl’s best friend” and 32 years later in January 1985, Madonna paid an hommage, replicating the entire musical set in her MTV video “Material girl” - dripping in diamonds, of course ! Diamonds have long captivated women as the ultimate symbols of love & status, a fascination fiercely guarded for decades by the De Beers cartel through strict supply control and brilliant marketing of “a diamond is forever”. This historic monopoly shattered with the rise of lab-grown diamonds, that offer chemically identical stones with superior ethical and financial appeal. By making diamond luxury highly accessible, lab-grown gems permanently disrupted De Beers' dominance and f

Market Sell-Off: 4 Charts I'm Watching for Potential Reversal Signals

The recent sell-off has pushed several major tech stocks into technically oversold territory. Here are four charts worth watching: 📉 $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ — 200DMA Loss Changes the Picture Price decisively broke below the lower Bollinger Band. The last time this happened, the market went on to form a bottom. The key difference this time is the loss of the 200-day moving average. Does that make this sell-off different? TOPKelvin 梁: Base case: NVIDIA’s November 17 earnings could extend the November 6 rebound, but only if its outlook materially clears an already very strong growth bar. The 2.78% regular-session bounce to US$186.64 looks more like an oversold rebound than a confirmed trend reversal: the medium-term technical trend remains in clear decline, and the rebound’s 179.7 million shares traded was below the prior day’s 306.1 million-share selloff. $UEC Enters a Major Monthly Smart Money Zone, $19 Long-Term Target
